Bristow Helicopters has signed on for five years of Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan (HAPP) usage. Honeywell said Thursday the agreement covers 26 of the operator’s Leonardo AW139s.
“We want our customers to be prepared for the unexpected. While operational and fuel costs can be unpredictable, maintenance costs don’t have to be,” said Mark Harding, global sales director for HAPP. “Our avionics maintenance plans are built to help operators drive greater operational efficiency. With fixed yearly contract prices and rapid service, even if your failures increase your budget does not have to.”
Bristow is receiving full maintenance protection coverage for the search and rescue fleet’s avionics suite. The company also has access to repair and parts exchange services, as well as support from Honeywell and authorized service centers.
Honeywell said it offers a variety of maintenance contract options. HAPP provides coverage on all Honeywell avionics systems across civil service rotary fleets, as well as commercial and business helicopters.
Bristow already uses Honeywell’s Sky Connect flight data monitoring system across its fleet.
