The Civil Aviation Administration of China has validated Donaldson Aerospace & Defense’s H125 (formerly AS350) inlet barrier filter (IBF) supplemental type certificate, clearing the way for installation of IBFs on Airbus H125 helicopters in China.

Baoli Aviationis the first operator in China to install and fly with the IBFs. In addition to a range of other aircraft, Baoli operates a fleet of six H125s (B3e version) and has purchased three Donaldson IBF systems for its Airbus fleet. Two of the H125s are already flying with IBF protection.

The Baoli H125s fly in a range of firefighting, agricultural spraying and load carrying missions in dusty and sandy environments.
