An air medical helicopter crashed and killed three passengers in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin, Friday.
Local media has reported that the deceased individuals include the 34-year-pilot, Rico Caruso, and two crew members, 43-year-old Gregory Rosenthal and Klint Mitchell.
The Ascension Health Spirit Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2, operated by Air Methods, reportedly had been traveling to its home base after having flown a patient to Madison when it crashed. Search and rescue crews found the wreckage in wooded terrain.
The NTSB and FAA are investigating.
