Airbus Helicopters delivered the 200th H145 to Norsk Luftambulanse (NOLAS), the company said Wednesday. The air rescue operator will use the helicopter in Norway for helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS).

The delivery marks the final one for NOLAS under its current order, bringing the operator’s Airbus fleet to a total of eight H145s and seven H135s. Each one is dedicated to delivering HEMS from bases across Norway.

NOLAS’ fleet renewal will make it the only air ambulance operator to operate a 100% Helionix-equipped mixed fleet of H135s and H145s, according to an Airbus press release.

The compact size, large and flexible cabin, low maintenance costs and powerful engine of the H145 make it an aircraft of choice for high intensity operations. It is flown in a wide range of missions including military, law enforcement, HEMS, utility and business operations.
