Representatives from China's Civil Aviation Administration (CAAC) visited a Kazan Helicopter Plant for 10 days to acquaint themselves with the facility and perform Ansat test flights. The visit was done for the certification validation process of the Rostec Ansat in China.

The plant tour allowed the representatives to acquaint themselves with the entire Ansat assembly chain. Kazan Helicopter Plant specialists also made presentations on the helicopter design, quality control system, service bulletins and airworthiness directives. The delegation work program also provided for joint test flights, an Ansat helicopter validation flight and instrumentation performance check-ups.

Russian Helicopters, along with the Federal Air Transport Agency, met with CAAC representatives in February on the validation of the Russian Ansat helicopter type certificate in China. It plans to supply the first batch of Ansat helicopters to China this year.
