A new helicopter shuttle will provide transportation by air between a New Jersey airport and a New York City heliport. Associated Aircraft Group (AAG) and the London Biggin Hill Airport have launched New York Heli Shuttle to run transfers from Biggin Hill's sister airport, Teterboro in New Jersey, to Manhattan's East 34th Street Heliport.

AAG operates the largest fleet of Sikorsky S-76s in the Northeastern region of the U.S. and will provide six-minute flights between to the two locations.

The London Biggin Hill Airport already established a similar service with Castle Air called the London Heli Shuttle to provide helicopter transfers between the airport and The London Heliport — also in six minutes.

London Heli Shuttle's fleet consists of Leonardo AW109 helicopters.

“The London Heli Shuttle has been a game-changer at our airport, allowing passengers a quick, six-minute transfer to the city center," said Robert Walters, business development director at London Biggin Hill. "With Teterboro the same time by helicopter to New York City, it is fantastic to be able to mirror this service with AAG in the United States and form an effective 'air bridge’ between the two cities."
