A Memphis, Tennessee, air medical operator as become the first of its kind in the U.S. to get rid of paper-based flight operations entirely.

Hospital Wing is now using the Flightdocs HMX platform to eliminate paper-based forms and reports, which the company claims is increasing efficiency across its maintenance and operations processes.

“It’s a complete and very easy-to-use tool that has been implemented in all aspects of our business and has been configured to work really well for us,” said Hospital Wing’s director of maintenance, Nick King.

The company provides around-the-clock emergency medical services with five Airbus Helicopters H125s and two H130s.
